If you don’t live or haven’t had the opportunity to visit Texas much less San Antonio, I highly suggest you plan a trip here sometime. There is so much to see and do here in this wonderful city. If should ask about our climate well, we have two seasons; winter and summer. When I lived in Oakland California, Boston or even Settle it was very strange for me. I had absolutely no idea about weather in the two missing seasons and ended up buying clothing to survive especially the winter! Anyway, I want to tell you a little bit about my home town. We have a few missions built in the 1700’s by Franciscan monks and the Spaniards. They still stand with beauty and grace and all are functional churches with the exception of the Alamo which is a national shrine and receives hundreds of visitors daily. We also have the Riverwalk running through downtown with lots of shops and restaurants to enjoy. You can even enjoy a boat ride down on the river and even have dinner aboard the barge! The river flow south outside the city and further out along the river banks are areas for a picnic, walking trail with native plants and there are even docks to board kayaks and paddle down the river. I hope sometime you will come to visit and fall in love with my hometown. This is truly welcoming city to see!
